About Us

Triangle Figure Skating Club (TFSC) is a nonprofit member club of U.S. Figure Skating, based at the Competition Center in Morrisville, North Carolina. We bring together skaters of every age and ability — from beginners taking their first strokes to competitive athletes training for regional and sectional events.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote the sport of amateur figure skating and foster the personal growth and development of our members. We strive to deliver on this mission by providing our members with opportunities to develop and showcase their skating skills in a welcoming, safe, and supportive community — helping skaters of all levels build confidence, pursue competitive goals, and build a lasting love of the ice.

Our club is run by a volunteer board of directors and supported by a dedicated community of parents, coaches, and skaters who believe in the power of the sport to build confidence, discipline, and lifelong friendships.

Annual Club Meeting

Each year, in the interest of transparency, TFSC hosts an annual meeting. This meeting has been held virtually since the 2024-25 season. Those interested in the club’s activities and financials should attend. Keep an eye on this page for the current season’s annual meeting announcement.

Board & Governance

The TFSC board of directors is responsible for managing club business in accordance with the club’s bylaws. Board members are volunteers from our community who serve our club membership and help promote the sport of figure skating.

Board terms are three years, and board members also serve as officers for the club. The listed designation (A, B, C) after each board member indicates their class. Terms expire on a three-year cadence: Class A — June 2028, Class B — June 2029, Class C — June 2027.

The By-Laws for Triangle Figure Skating Club have recently been updated — please review them to stay current on our governance structure. Minutes from the past two years of board meetings are available here for viewing (access is limited to current club members). If you have any questions, please contact the board through the club’s email address: info@trianglefscnc.org.
