Triangle Figure Skating Club is a U.S. Figure Skating member club serving skaters of every age and level across the Triangle — from first strokes to national competition.
The Triangle Figure Skating Club of North Carolina is a North Carolina non-profit corporation and a member club of the United States Figure Skating Association. We were first founded on September 17, 1986, based out of the Raleigh IcePlex.
In 2008, the Triangle Figure Skating Club split into two clubs: The Skating Club of North Carolina, which retained its home rink at the IcePlex, and the Triangle Figure Skating Club, which moved its home facility to the Polar Ice House at the Factory, in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
In January 2017, the two clubs once again joined forces, retaining the original name. Home club ice is hosted at the Wake Competition Center (Invisalign Arena), and the Raleigh IcePlex, which is the only Olympic-sized ice sheet in the Triangle.
